Who We Are
The Carter Holston Life Group meets every Saturday at 5:30 pm in B211 at LakePointe Church in Rockwall, TX. We are a group of believers who are primarily empty nesters. We have a very engaging Bible Study each week. We go through life together, praying for one another, serving others and fellowshipping as we worship our Lord and Savior. College Parents - Empty Nest, 50's & 60s, mostly married. Co-Leaders of the Group are Carter Holston and Greg Gochinas.
We serve others. Our members are givers. We have members that are part of a new campus launch team, the evangelism team, serve in the children's ministry, go on mission trips, provide assistance to those in need after natural disasters. And we are around to listen when life gets messy and you need a friend. In addition to believing Gods word, we are a class of prayer. We take prayer seriously and we have witnessed its power personally.

Meet Carter & Cheri Holston
Carter and Cheri have been at LakePointe since 1985 and have been involved in a fellowship the whole time. Carter started teaching 5th grade Bible study and did so for 19 years. He’ll tell you that he eventually grew up and became an Adult Bible Fellowship teacher for about 20 years. Carter never takes himself too seriously, is quite the practical joker and is a business leader in his community.
Meet Greg & Dawn Gochinas
Greg and Dawn came to LakePointe in 1998 and have been involved in Bible study from the start. Greg has been a Bible teacher for 20+ years and currently co-leads our Life Group with Carter Holston. Greg has a good sense of humor and likes to remind friends often of his Wisconsin roots and Greek heritage.
